As pictures are one of the assets responsible for the speed of the website pages, unless you enable lazy loading, the speed of the web page having large photos will be slow. This is because larger images will be transferred slowly compared to smaller images. They also consume more storage memory than smaller photos. One of the methods you can use to fix this issue is to reduce the size of the photo.
The major benefit of reducing the picture size is that the size of the picture will be reduced. As the photo size is lower, it will be transferred faster to the visitor's PC. It will also consume lower storage space.
Must see: Image Converter Tool
The image resizer tool of CrawlCenter enables you to convert images of JPG/PNG formats to the size of your choice. It reduces the size of photos by several kilobytes.
The Crawlcenter online image resize accepts either width and height as an input or the percentage value. Users cannot enter the percentage as well as width and height at the same time.
If you want to keep the aspect ratio intact, use the Reduce By method. If you know what you're doing, enter the width/height.
You can use this tool to resize images to 128 x 128, 512 x 512, 1000 x 1000 pixels, or any other size for free.
Once the file size is reduced, you'll see a link below the "Resize" button. Click the link to see the resized image. To save the photo on your phone/PC, long press or right click on the image and choose "Save Image As" option.
Note: As of now, CrawlCenter supports BMP, JPG, and PNG files only.
